Description:

The Mammut Assist Belay Resistor helps lighter belayers confidently manage heavier climbing partners by increasing rope friction only when it's needed. Mounted to the first quickdraw, its patented cam design activates during a fall or while lowering, providing controlled assistance without completely locking the rope. This allows for smooth rope handling, dynamic catches, and easier lowering while reducing the risk of ground falls on the first bolt.
