Description

The Petzl Contact 9.8 mm is a single rope designed for gym and rock climbing. It balances weight and durability, with grip and handling intended to make rope management and belay-device use easier. Its flexibility helps with giving slack, while EverFlex thermal treatment stabilizes the core strands for consistent handling over time. The ClimbReady Coil is designed to reduce initial uncoiling mistakes and increase longevity. A middle mark helps identify the rope's midpoint, and UltraSonic Finish bonds the core and sheath at the ends to improve durability and help prevent fraying.
