Description

Mussy hooks are specialized pieces of climbing hardware designed for lowring off of routes, not for creating anchors. They are often found at the top of sport climbing routes and are designed to be used with both gates facing outward, away from the rock face. This orientation minimizes the risk of snagging on the rock and accidental opening under load.
