Who it's for? - Climbers & Canyoneers
What it does? - A carabiner with a built in pulley wheel for reduced friction
How it does it? - A built in pulley wheel reduces the friction of the rope moving through the carabiner
A pulley-carabiner that allows installation of the rope when pulley is connected to the anchor.
In rock climbing applications, the integrated pulley wheel allows ropes to run more efficiently through the carabiner. Using it at changes of direction on a route helps reduce rope drag.
Canyoneers clip this to their helmet chin straps, then run the rope through it to help them quickly and efficiently stow ropes in rope bags.
