Who it's for? - Canyoneers
What it does? - A durable rope bag for 300 feet of 9.2mm rope in dry canyons
How it does it? - A sturdy design to hold up to the rigors of canyoneering
This is a deployment bag for 300’ 9mm ropes, designed for doing long rappels where flotation is not required (like Heaps Canyon in Zion National Park).
The SECO-400 is sized for a 315 foot, 9mm rope.
SECO Ropebags are lighter, simpler versions of our classic rope bags, for when light and simple are higher priorities than optimum performance, durability and floatation. Optimized for DRY canyons.
SECO rope bags are made from durable 1000d air-textured nylon fabric. They have no foam and minimal drainage. They do not float. They stay open reasonably well for stuffing.
There is a big grommet and a tie-off loop at the bottom, so you can tie the lower end of the rope on the outside, where it is verifiable. Two big handles at the top, plus the usual inside clip loop for hanging while stuffing. A drawcord top. 500d Cordura.
Material: 500d Cordura.
Dimensions: 28" tall x 16-1/2" Wide (flat).
