Description

The Black Diamond Speed 22 Backpack is a lightweight alpine pack built for technical climbing, mountaineering, and fast summit pushes. Its updated BD X-rip 210D nylon fabric with UTS™ coating resists abrasion from rock, ice, and crampons while keeping weight to a minimum. The pack features a removable lid, hipbelt, and framesheet so you can strip unnecessary weight for demanding routes, while redesigned shoulder straps and a moisture-wicking back panel improve carrying comfort on long approaches. Dedicated ice tool attachments, removable crampon straps, and a tuck-away rope strap keep essential climbing gear secure and organized when moving through technical terrain.
