Description
The EDELRID STARLING PROTECT ECO DRY 8.2 mm is a premium alpine rope built for climbers who demand maximum durability in harsh mountain environments. Its innovative Protect technology incorporates aramid fibers into the sheath to significantly improve cut resistance from sharp rock edges and crampons while maintaining excellent handling. The PFAS-free Eco Dry finish permanently repels water and dirt, allowing the rope to absorb less than 2% water and exceed the UIAA Water Repellent Standard. Triple-rated as a single, half, and twin rope, the STARLING PROTECT ECO DRY delivers outstanding versatility for alpine climbing, ice climbing, and mountaineering.
