The St. George Recreation Preservation Committee (SGRPC) is a group of local citizens representing a variety of recreation and conservation interests who work together to protect and improve the community's open spaces and recreation areas. Our goal is to help ensure these places are thoughtfully managed, accessible to everyone, and preserved for future generations. The Committee monitors trails, climbing areas, and other public lands, considers how growth in the St. George area may affect them, and provides recommendations to local land managers, government agencies, and developers on ways to protect these valuable resources. It also partners with local nonprofits and community organizations to support both short and long-term improvement projects. By encouraging public involvement and shared stewardship, the Committee helps keep St. George's outdoor spaces healthy, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone.
